Welcome. It’s just over two years that I am living “down-under”. In the age of 54, I migrated from Germany to be with my Aussie wife. Being a German, I am just one of the many other immigrants in this country, nothing less or more. To many degrees, it seems as if this would make life easier, but in fact it is more difficult in the same time.
This Blog will hopefully reflect some of my experiences living between two seemingly very similar, and in the same time time most different cultures. It is the sister Blog to the German version here, thus in the same time a language writing exercise.
As this is my first Blog, it will possibly change design and structure along the road. Thanks for your understanding.
